Public Transportation Documentary

Public transportation, besides providing an alternate method of travel, influences people and the cities they live in economically, socio-economically, and socially. We use Los Angeles as a framework for examining public transportation's impacts on society, and transcribe interviews with members and affiliates of UCLA's Institute for Transportation Studies. We would like to discover the influence cost, accessibility, implementation, and technology have on determining public transportation's impact on the spatial structure of urban society, social interaction and mobility, and economic stability. In order to identify these relations we examine public transportation in terms of its ecology, economy, politics, sociology, and technology. You may access all areas of our documentary below.
